Here are a couple of themed birthday cakes I’ve made recently. The first was for a little girl who was celebrating her birthday with a teddy bears picnic party.
The second is a Hungry Caterpillar cupcake cake. When I was browsing flickr, as I often do, I came across this cake and just had to have a go. So I made this for Faith’s 2nd birthday.
I was really pleased with it but I don’t think my Grandma really understood what it was – she called it ‘The strange face cake’! 🙂

I am going to attempt that cake for Maxi’s birthday, yours looks amazing. I have got all the stuff for it, so we shall see how it goes.
