Hi,
I love your blog, and wonder if you might like to take part in a new BBC baking series looking for Britain’s best amatuer bakers.
I am on 020 70 67 4860 if you want to find out more. The deadline for entries is this week so please call soon.
Best wishes,

Hi Amy,
We met at the wonderful Cybermummies conference.
I wanted to say hi.
What did you think of the conf?
And are you still interested in us running some of your recipes if we run a link to your site. It looks amazing, my mouth has been watering at the scones.
Best wishes,
Sam

Hi Sam,
Was lovely to meet you at the conference. I had a fab time and it was great to finally put names to faces after reading everyone’s blogs and tweets for so long! Hope you enjoyed it too.
I’d love you to run some of my recipes. I’ll drop you a line.

Hello, My name is Leila Zahedi and i am currently a year 13 student doing my A levels, in one of my subjects we are required to make a website, and i have chosen to do mine based on a bakery company. i came accross one of your pictures in google images, and it is a plain picture of a pink icing sugar rose. I would’ve been interested in using this, however i am unable to do so due to copyright reasons, i was wondering if i could have your permission to use this image for educational purposes, and also it will be on the world wide web, as we have to formally upload our website up to the internet.
I’m sorry for any inconvineance this may have caused you, i hope to hear from you very soon!
Many Thanks
Leila Zahedi

Hi Amy, when I opened up an email from your Dad today (Father’s Day), the subject was “Baking, Cakes and Children”. It struck up an immediate connection for me. I have 5 children and have taught them all to cook. I think I have photos of all of them, as toddlers, licking cake mix off a spoon, standing on a chair, with an oversized pinny on. My two youngest are brilliant in the kitchen and I often come home from work or lectures, to kitchen full of cookies and cakes. They both fantasize about writing a cook book together. I think your idea of this blog is wonderful. My kids are aged 31, 29, 21, 15 and 13. I think it is so important to teach children how to cook, not only is it a worthwhile skill, it is sociable and brings confidence. We love sitting around the table and having a good chinwag.
Very impressed.
Trish

Thanks Trish. I love cooking with the children and hope they will continue to enjoy it as they grow up. I agree it is very important in many aspects of life and we also enjoy a good family catch up over a meal.
Thanks for stopping by đ
