It’s no secret that I love a good cake and to satisfy my cake cravings, I’ve been thinking about starting a Clandestine Cake Club for a while. With the recent popularity and press coverage, I’ve decided to go for it and will be holding the first event next week.
For those of you who haven’t heard of it, you can read more on the Clandestine Cake Club website. The general idea is that a group of cake lovers get together regularly, each baking a cake on a set theme, eat as much cake as possible, have a good natter then divide up the remaining cake for everyone to take home with them. Each meeting takes place at a secret location, which will be revealed nearer the time.
The first Eastleigh Clandestine Cake Club meeting will take place at my house so I can gauge the interest before scouting out some other venues. The theme for this month is fantastic fruit – fresh fruit, dried fruit, fruity fillings – the choice is yours!
You can find out more details on our CCC page, but the meeting will be on Tuesday 20th March at 7:30pm. If you’d like to book a place then drop me a line.
