As well as getting ready for Christmas, I have several family members who have their birthdays in December (very inconsiderate of them!) so I have birthday presents as well as Christmas presents to sort out. My mother in law’s birthday is Christmas Eve but because she is usually at work then, we go round and have a Christmas dinner with them beforehand. We went round yesterday and had a lovely lunch and were thoroughly spoilt.
I decided I would knit something for her birthday present, so I made this mug cosy using a pattern from Ravelry. It’s a quick and simple, but effective knit and is great for keeping your coffee warm. Might make one for myself!
Hope she likes it 🙂

Ha that mug cosy is brilliant! I don’t have any heating in my bedroom and could really use one up there as the tea is usually cold before I get to it. You are clever! xx

Brrr… that must be chilly! I have made several for friends and family now – especially those with small children who often have to leave their drink as soon as they’ve made it! 🙂 x

I love this, I am off to look at this pattern and to get knitting some of these. As I can think of loads of people who would want one of these! xx
