I’ve never been too good at science and ever since my secondary school teacher told me I was no good at it, I’ve tried to avoid it where possible! I guess the nearest I stray towards science is developing recipes. However, Dale and Grace have tried out some brilliant things together and their latest achievement is making a battery. I have to admit, I am very impressed!

They gathered together zinc washers, copper coins, copper wire, vinegar, lemon juice, salty water and an LED light bulb to make it. Grace filmed a couple of videos to explain how they did it, so I’ll leave you in her capable hands to show you what they did. Hope you’re as impressed as I was!
