This year we have made lots of our Christmas gifts so we thought we’d make some wrapping paper to go with them. Faith has some handy Christmas themed stamps, which we used with ink pads but you could cut shapes out of potatoes using cookie cutters if you don’t have any ready made stamps.
I used a long roll of paper that I bought from the Early Learning Centre, spread it out along the table and let Faith go crazy with the stamps. Grace thought it was so pretty that she wanted to join in too and we ended up with a production line!
Once it had dried, we wrapped up our gifts and finished them off with pretty ribbons. Simple but effective!

I love this idea and contemplated doing something similar this year. Unfortunately Miss P is still at the age where she will eat the paint rather than do anything productive with it, so I think this will be a task for next year! Looks fantastic!

Awwww… yes, maybe one for next year then! Ours did eventually deteriorate into hand painting but luckily we had done enough by then! 🙂
