I am getting slightly addicted to making these felted slippers. A pretty blue pair this time for my sister to give as a birthday gift.
I used the same pattern to knit them but tried some Cascade 220 Heathers yarn this time. They didn’t felt very evenly and I had to wash them 4 times in my front loading machine. However, I’m quite pleased with the end result, and I hope the recipient is too!
I’ve got quite a bit of the yarn left over so I might try some more felting – Faith has her eye on a pair of felted clogs that we saw on ravelry so maybe I’ll give those a go….

You have to knit on large needles – things look very funny! Then wash them several times but without the spin cycle until they reach the right size. I still need a lot more practice I think! x

They do, don’t they? I’m definitely going to make myself a pair 🙂
