My Mum gave Grace a couple of lovely Autumn craft kits for her birthday. This one contained lots of leaf shapes, which you scratched with a stick to reveal the colours underneath and make lots of pretty patterns. It reminded me of those pictures you make where you colour over the top with a black wax crayon and scratch patterns into it.
When we went for our walk the other day we collected a few branches from the woodland floor so we decided to hang our leaves from it with pretty ribbons. Very effective and a lovely Autumn decoration for the dining room.

How pretty! We always make an Easter tree – now I’m inspired to make an autumn one too. Fancy coming over to link-up to the Play Academy tomorrow?

Lovely!! Might try and reproduce this by cutting out our own leaves. Great idea to peg them onto sticks! I have a permanent table decoration as my 3yo is always bringing me ‘funny sticks’ to put in a vase – the leaves will pep them up no end š

Good plan! We’ve also done it before by leaf printing or rubbing and then cutting them out. Have fun!

I like this one too – it would be so easy to do your own version with wax crayons.
