I hope you’ve all had an enjoyable holiday season. We’ve been staying with my Mum and have had a lovely Christmas and, as usual, have had too much food and drink!

I had to wait to write about a few of my handmade Christmas presents just in case anyone was peeking at my blog! Firstly, I made this pincushion to go with a sewing box that my Mum gave to my sister. It is made from some of the lovely fabric that I won in a blog giveaway on Gone To Earth.

For my niece and nephew I made a cloth bag each and filled it with little stationery items.

Grace and Dale had great fun making bird feeders for all the grandparents.

They threaded string through the bottom of a plastic cup and tied a knot, mixed together melted lard with bird seed, packed it into the cups and left it to set.

They went down very well 🙂
