I am not known for my fashion sense! I have resorted to wearing large baggy cover ups, thinking they hide the unsightly bulges when they are probably making them look worse. Having had two children, my shape has changed dramatically and my lovely slim waist has transformed into a rather large belly.
So despite the fact I’m not a fashion blogger, I was excited to receive an invite to the Festival Place Fashion Festival, which is being held in Basingstoke this weekend (8th and 9th Oct). There is a 2 hour style confidence workshop where TV Stylist Wendy Elsmore will be providing advice on how to dress for your body shape and celebrity hairdresser Jason Smith will be giving tips on how to style your hair. There is also a catwalk show and great offers on fabulous fashion brands. I’m hoping to come away with a whole new idea of how to dress to impress!
There are 2 sessions each day starting at 11am and 1.30pm and lasting 2 hours. Tickets are £10 each and you can book your place here. I shall be back to report back some of the tips and advice I’m given next week and hopefully with a new found style confidence…
