You may have read earlier on in the year how we struggle with Faith at bedtime and although she’s a little better now, we still have a few problems getting her to go to sleep. So I was very interested when I was asked if I’d like to review a Lullaby Gloworm from Playskool.

When I was young I had a gloworm and I loved it! I remember how you had to squeeze it really hard in exactly the right place to make it work and then you had to keep squeezing or the light went off again. Well it seems they have moved on somewhat now! This little chap, available in blue or pink, is suitable from birth and not only does his face light up but he can also play 6 different lullabies. Faith took to it immediately and even though she’s a little older than the intended age groups, she carries it everywhere with her!

There is a switch at the back so you can switch between the 3 modes of play – lights only, demo mode or play mode. This is great for toddlers if you just want the gentle light at night but not the tunes playing constantly on a loop! The soothing lullabies are also great for comforting babies at night time.

I’m not sure it’s changed the sleeping situation but it has certainly become a favourite toy in our house.

If you like the look of the Lullaby Gloworm or any other Playskool toys, they are offering 50% cashback on purchases over Ā£20 until the end of October, just follow this link to get your cashback.

This is a review post – I was sent a blue Lullaby Gloworm free of charge to review.
